Lewis County Sheriff Contact
For a current local custody question, a sheriff-made arrest, an incident report, or a booking-photo request, contact the official county office. Emergencies belong with 911.

The Idaho Blue Book gives ordinary county-office hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Ask the sheriff to confirm current records-office availability because jail operations and visitation can follow different hours.
Requesting a County Record
Use the Lewis County public-records request form for an incident or booking record. Identify the name, date range, incident location, arresting agency, and known case number. Ask separately for any releasable booking photograph and a written fee estimate. The sheriff page says incident-report requests go to the Prosecutor’s Office for review and usually take three business days. That statement is not a guaranteed deadline for every record or photo request.
Other Official Record Holders
Use the office that matches the person’s actual status. Idaho iCourt and the Lewis County court clerk hold filed state-court cases and dispositions. The Idaho Department of Correction search covers people in state correctional custody or supervision, not a new county booking. VINELink can provide custody status and alerts where agency data participates. Federal Bureau of Prisons and ICE locators cover their own systems. Tribal matters may require the Nez Perce Tribal Police or tribal court rather than Lewis County.
